Re: first build-comments?

I have yet to build my own gaming or media computer, the 360 still stunnes me on certain games, And with all my money going to the state I can't justify the price differences of the two for the graphics differences of which I'm partial to graphics. Hopefully in the next century or so I will build myself a box. good luck hope you get some good graphics/gameplay plus you built it. That's the real cool part

Very good build overall. As mentioned, pickup a higher quality PSU, and the 9600GT is a poor choice right now. You can pickup a 9800GT or 4850 for not to much more and they are significantly faster.

ditch the pwr supply and get a high quality one as this is the one area you do not want to go cheap cause if it fails it can take out your entire system.

look into one of these brands based on your budget

corsair
pc power & cooling
ocz
thermaltake
antec

corsair is probably the best out in terms of performance and quality and highly recommend
