I ran the tool on dslreports by deblin. If I read this correct I have a good signal (capable of a 11 meg downstream)

Maybe its my router messing it up.

When you say reboot - the power light goes off then comes on? or just the DSL light goes of then on? If its the power light - then its bad modem. If its the DSL light - then it could be anything - bad modem, bad jack, bad wiring (inside or outside), it could in the Central Office - no telling.
The power light stays on but the DSL light sometimes turns red but usually is just disconnects and reconnects so fast that the light does not become red. I can tell because I get a new IP address in my router.

Hi guys I am having some problems, maybe you can help me diagnose it.
I have had DSL for over a year. Suddenly I come home and I have No DSL signal. I call tech support (after several tries I finally get through but that is a different story) they say that they are doing line maintenance in my area and it will be back on by 6 am.
Next day 9 am, I call again guy from India (or just a very strong accent) says he will put a trouble ticket in for me. And that some one from the line maintenance people will call me within 4 hours.
6 Hours go by I call again this time I get a really helpful guy who actually tries to find a problem, I bypass the filter and plug straight into the wall. I get a signal but it comes and goes, Its almost as if my modem is rebooting. It will stay on for a while and then reboot (is it a bad signal, bad modem ?)
The tech support guy says it sounds like a bad jack (why would a 40 year old jack just suddenly go bad) I have not touched it (the plug) in over a year.
I rent this place but he said that if ATT came out and it was the jack they would charge me.
What do you guys think it is? Could a intermittent signal cause a modem to reboot? Or is it a bad modem?
Thanks (I have a repair ticket number if some of you repair guys would like to look at the att side of it.
