I know you can get summoned or a portal at any level, but what level would my alts need to be to ride the Zep to the profession trainers? |

| reply to CFHJustin73 If you're going there to level, go there at 68. My DK is almost 76 right now and I've had no problems leveling up. I started there at 68. Hell, I'd go there earlier to face grind on mobs if I could. I was sick of Outlands. -- I melt faces. |

Haven't seen any low-levels running around Valiance Keep or Dalaran either, which I thought was odd. Lvl 1's where all over Shatt. |

| reply to CFHJustin73 Level requirements to zone is are so stupid. If you can be summmoned in at any level, why can't you zone in?
If you bought the expansion you should be able to go anywhere (non-instance) you want, regardless of level. -- Whats smells like blue? |

| reply to CFHJustin73 This is good info. I've been helping my brother in law level his warrior. His warrior is 65 right now and I am SO sick of being in Outlands. If there truly is no requirement for him to ride the boat out there, I think I may have him come to NR with me and tag along while I work on some quests in Borean Tundra. He can get his XP that way for a while. -- "My actions are not revenge...they are punishment..."

Horde: Orgrimmar & Undercity...no idea where they go to. |

Duchess44 Premium join:2001-10-24 Chattanooga, TN | No, I meant the ports that go to like Shatt, etc. The ones like what are in shatt that take u to SW, IF, and Darn.
I heard there were ports, but never seen any. |

Harddrive Premium join:2000-09-20 Norwich, CT | the ports to the major cities are there in Dalaran. just go into your prospective area of Dalaran (alliance or scumbag) and they will be there. -- I have come to realize that God doesn't want to hear from me anymore. |

| reply to CFHJustin73 You can be any level to get into Outlands or Northrend. I've seen lowbies that were in there. Physically getting there yourself can be a big chore at lower levels unless you're prepared to corpse-walk your way through.
There are, however, easier methods to get there. One is to pay a mage, the other is to pay a warlock to summon (or if you have high level friends, they can do it for free).
The mage has to be level 74, the lock has to simply just be inside Dalaran. A lock can summon from any level. The mage gets his portal at 74 (he can self port to Dalaran at 71).
There are portals inside the city at Dalaran. Explore around, talk with guards. There are points of interest and many things for you to look at. The biggest benefit to having a hearthstone saved to Dalaran is that you'll have access to any major city, regardless of level.
If you want to take the horde side zeps, you can take the zep from Orgrimmar to Borean Tundra (the western side), or from Undercity to Howling Fjord (the eastern side).
If you're alliance, you have to head over to blackrock mountain. Head inside and get to the dwarf with the chain. Go halfway down the first link of chain and then strafe to the side, you'll be right in Northrend. (Not really, but I don't play alliance, so screw you guys, eat some lava).
The level requirements are strictly for questing. 58 to quest in Outlands. 68 to quest in Northrend. They're not physical limitations to keep you out, assuming you purchased BC/LK. -- I melt faces. |

Dalaran does have a mage trainer, but not for any other class. Not sure why only for mages; must be some kind of lore thing I've not paid attention to.
They do have ports to Shat, SW, Ironforge, Exodar and I think Darnassus so there's no reason not to set your hearthstone there if you're the appropriate level to quest there. |
