What about CAPS?

Great idea if subscribers are not limited to 5Gb Caps and the price is right. I am not holding my breath. Ericsson did not indicate how many subscribers a tower can support and still maintain high performance.

Re: What about CAPS?

I think it's a great idea if it can bring affordable broadband to those that can't get it now. If it offers low latency, respectable speeds, and solid security it might be just the thing we need.

Is $60 a month for a 5 GB cap a great deal? Hardly. Not to mention overage charges in the $250-$500 per GB range

Re: What about CAPS?

We really have no idea what kind of caps might be imposed on a future service that is years away from being widely implemented. Nor do we know anything at all about any overage charges or how the service will be packaged and sold. IF you read my comment, it was clear that I was merely speculating on the potential.
