BFG Offers Some AGP Owners Free Upgrade to PCIe Video Card

Trade in that old AGP card for PCIe equivalent or upgrade for $50 (USA only).

Awesome move on their part, nice to see some consumer good will, and I am sure they can sell the AGP cards overseas in places that aren't up to the standards we here in the USA are.

Registration won't accept the S/N on my 6800 GT OC 256MB AGP, just keeps saying "The serial number that was entered is not recognized. Please click on the Blue I icon next to the serial number field to see how the BFG serial number is formatted."

It doesn't help that when you start and don't finish a registration with an email address, you can't use that email address again, even though the account never activates. Weak.

They were able to help me out after sending them a picture of the back of the card. I think it has some code present other than the serial number and they were able to match it up. Craigslist, here we come...
