Don't know if you can hit any cell towers in the area.

I can barely hit a Verizon tower with an external antenna and amplifier, but it's better than the satellite companies.

You can to a look at »www.evdoforums.com for a lot of ideas...
Thanks for the reply, I actually moved to sprint shortly after posting the original review, and am now with Time Warner Cable. This is good information for people reading this however.
