Just got a new problem, I can't download any files from rapidshare megaupload or any other sharing webs because it's always said "Your IP address 58.27.105.XXX is currently downloading a... " but I'm not even download anything and that IP is not even mine! My IP start at 60.48.../60.50.../218.208.../ you get the idea, typial IP for streamyx. Double & triple checked my IP its still same problem. Restart modem, default it, disconnect my line, I wait for 15minutes for rapidshare to over yet the problem still persist. Seriously I'm stumped, dont know what else to do. BTW I live in Desa Putra.
Anyone got the same problem? I need some reply before I take any action regarding this problem. |

behind proxy and making another proxy?! heh, the speeds, I believe only a bit better than dial-up. For 5-15mb of files I can take a bite, but for 500mb-700mb or 1GB... oh I'm fcuked. Thanks you streamyx. Lets hope wimax going to be much better deal. |

Try getting a premium account. Or you could try using some proxy servers to bypass the problem. |

I can get max speed at 64 KB/s. Tweak your network properly and only download in the morning. Don't always blame TMNet for everything. The only thing I hate about Streamyx is the High Ping |

jakelong, please don't be a kiss-ass to streamyx because their service/line really is shit. Heres something to do, download 1gb a day from same website, lets say gametrailers, playsyde, gamershell etc. Next month I'm sure you're going to get 5-10kbps for that webs or in jackpot kind of thing, that same week.

Using pc extensively since windows 95(311-quick), using streamyx since the fastest speed is 512(got 2, 384 & 512), still got 100mhz intel rig here. ps: yes, already use celcom/p1max/macrolynx/maxis
streamyx better because of unlimited(even theres some restrictions,VPN bypass everything) macrolynx only at my brother house in seri maya, RM66 for 1mb/1mb dl/ul. Good deal, but everyone in one network, like CC file://192.168.1.xxx gets you to some of the unsecured pc in the network. no pass security, youre fcked.

You are on dynamic ip i guess i.e you share ip with other subscribers or tmnet using proxy.
I didn't mean to argue with petala but my connection is all the time up to advertised speed, i am on 512kb and my speed are within 45 - 55kb/s but only on ip 60.xx and without tweak my everything 
Other ip like 124.xx sometime yes but most of the time its slightly better than dial up  |
