They're mad as hell, but too busy lobbying to provide some kind of competing content. If they just sucked it up and realized that they are getting payed to be a "dumb pipe" they could invest that lobbying money into some worthwhile content for the internet, and then actually have another revenue stream.
You mean like Bell did when they opened up their online video store.
