It means that we as a country are not investing in the future particularly in a technology that WE invented.<br><br>It is like the car business, we used to make cars that people wanted and now look at the situation that our 3 big car manufacturers are in. Toyota, Honda and others make much better cars than we do why? because we failed to adapt and <b>invest</b> in future technologies. I bet the 3 American manufacturers said in the 80's that "Fuel economy and quality are not the type of things that keep us up all night"]]></description>
