| use phones for the usual: like bitching and fighting with your husband in the grocery store on a cell because neither of you could cobble together a damn list of crap to stuff down your cake holes. I see (hear) this on almost every visit to buy groceries.
Or giggly young women talking gibberish walking to and from classes at the UNI. You can't walk and think about the last/next class? You have to call your flibbertigibbet friend to tell her "how totally awesome" something was for a total of five minutes? Technology ... 
As for Apple's ads, since when did any company advertise truth?
