atikmdag not responding

Not really looking for a solution because there really isn't one out there that I have found...

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with this...

What is weird is that I built my own system... it worked for 3 weeks fine... I think a Windows update screwed my ATI drivers up... now I can't figure out which update was the culprit.

Update the video card drivers and see if the problem goes away. If it does then you are good to go. Otherwise take out each update individually and try and update the drivers again after each update removal.

And use Google to see if anyone else had the problem and figured out the solution.
