EvilByDesire posted : ive been on and off with abb since august about my speed issues, there basically the same as you but my speeds were slower however since yesterday(December 18th) my speeds are constant 7.4 to 7.6, but thats after me calling them almost 20 times, having 5 different tech at my house, i even had a supervisor at my house and they said it was network congestion on there end and they said they would move me to another nod and that would fix it, so i guess they did that and my connection is perfect now..

I told them i was going to call the BBB and the FCC and file complaints against them, as soon as i said that my connection was perfect within a week..
--
...Wicked Night Demon...

fenix_jn posted : According to several P2P-related sites, ABB might be throttling P2P traffic... the thing is, they seem to punish all ports, even plain http, when it happens.

Low speeds in Western PA?

Tasogare posted : When we first got our 8MB line here in Western PA, I did a speed test and we clocked in around 7.5MB, not too shabby. However, I've noticed that ever since my torrents get throttled, our connection in general has been dropping. Tonight it barely broke 5MB, and World of Warcraft has had two days in a row of getting horrible latency in the afternoon/evening. Anyone else with this kind of problem?
