| one thing you should never do is plug it back in immediately, wait at least a minute, as the compressor will try to start on a back pressure built up when it was running, and trip the overload on the compressor, it should reset though by itself, what you did will have no effect on the timer.. when you cycled the timer, did it defrost? it went from that mode as you say, so it's working as far as time, whether or not it actually heats and defrosts you didn't mention.. also, did the compressor turn on and cool the refrigerator and freezer? |
