Re: [modem/router] Westell 327W incorrect address issues.

Software in question is PFConfig, from Portforward.com.

Supposedly this will configure port forwarding automatically, but they are stumped also.

I am in Wheeling, West Virginia, don't think I have it in bridge mode.

Following lights on the 327W...

Power - solid green
E1 - rapidly flashing green
Wireless - solid green
DSL - solid green
Internet - slowly flashing green

Thanks, folks.

access that 327 - point your browser to 192.168.1.1 and use either admin/admin or admin/password
If the firmware has the black&red background, look on the "My Gateway" panel on the left, below the blue globe your connection type and status should be listed. Is it DHCP or PPPoE, and what is the first part of the IP address listed there, if any, and if there is a username listed there is it yours or something else?
If the background is white, click the "status" link from the top nav. menu to see the connection info.
Also, on your PC take a look in Network Connections - what connections are listed there: Broadband, Local Area, and 1394 ?

BTW, those lights appear to be correct.

reboot, reset, reconfigure, then recycle.
