I don't have a freezer big enough to hold a sum of meat like that plus all my regular frozen stuff... It was a pretty big buck. 3 prongs on the left horn and about 18 inches from base of skull to tips. (Or however/whatever you call them and measure them).
Since they saw it alive, I guess it's not as gross to think about harvesting the meat than if they had found it alongside the road already dead (and not knowing for how long it had been there).
I'm sure he'll get at least 100 pounds of meat out of it.
Maybe his family will invite me over for dinner one night though...lol

Great place to live, but sure gets dark at night...no street lights...
