Many had reported such a PAP2/PAP2T has some defects that cause the device to brick. If you had an oscilloscope, you may want to look at the DC signals coming out from its AC/DC adapter to see if it can supply a clean DC Voltage to your PAP2T. If it can't, then perhaps replacing with a new AC/DC Voltage adapter with the same ratings will probably fix the problem.
--
Mazilo always prays for FREEBIES!
US Phone: +1-678-601-0907
UK Phone: +44-703-194-2574
