slim99 @verizon.net	dsl with aol 9.0 im have dsl with windows vista and using aol 9.0 im using aol 9.0 because when ever i click on a email address in craigs list, it forwards the address to the mail box where i can type stuff without manuallying entering the email address. my problem is aol 9.0 keeps shutting off and on. i need simple clear instructions on how to get rid of this problem. its wireless

C54H join:2005-08-26 Flushing, NY	Why do you use AOL they seem to take over the entire computer. I used to have AOL and they told me what to do I could not go anywhere else except to their dumb page. I took their software out of my computer and use the regular internet explorer. I also use Hotmail or Yahoo mail for my e mails. AOL screws the computer up.

GMAIL can be set to act as the primary email address for links so when you click on a link (not just in Craigs List) it will open the mail program (in the instance of GMAIL will be the web browser) and auto-fill the address just like AOL without all of the hassle of AOL. I also have an AOL account because I had one when I needed one some 15 years ago and now I just keep it because it is free and other family members have it also but I don't use it as any primary address for the same reasons you mentioned. Instability. Good luck.
