The internet is free for all.

Just go to your public library. They have several PCs hooked up to the internet and you can use them for free.
It still costs money, to taxpayers. Nothing is free.

Its just getting the internet at home or on your mobile that costs money. For that convenience, you have to pay. But I suppose that you want someone else to pay for it, don't you?

taken, an interesting thought, why do you thing that internet access should be free to all? First of all, to even consider that, internet access would have to be elevated to the level of a utility, which, at this time, it is not. Then given internet access is elevated to utility status, please provide examples where any other utility is free to all, i.e., electric, water, sewer, natural gas, telephone?
