Oh also don't you think Comcast would better spend their time and money actually upgrading their system? What is Comcast so afraid of? Maybe if they had a product that could come close to competing, they wouldn't have to try and stop or slow Verizon from coming into town.
Comcast, maybe your customers want 100 HD channels, a new fresh interactive guide experience and 30+ mbps speeds? Deliver it and you have nothing to worry about! Stop spending your time and money in the wrong places!!!
reply to cypherstream In the end Verizon will knock out all the competition. They have absolutely no conscience at all. Never play fair and will drive the competition out of business. Allow equal access and fair pricing. This is what the 1934 and 1996 Telcom acts were about. Not allowing them to control and stimulate fair growth. This company will suck the blood from their offspring to survive.
Sue lol now that is funny. Look at some the case's before your local PSC/PUC'S. The bells walk strongly amongst them. Case's are still in court for over twelve ( 12 ) years. These cases or rules were suppose to set a level playing field to allow fair competition in the market. The RBOC coalitition asked the FCC for extensions and promised many thing among them credit or refunds. Oh well twelve ( 12 ) years later and they are still ignoring it and saying get lost. Please tell Martin he needs to get some b-lls and enforce. Not make unfair but enforce as it will surely bring about better services.
if you haven't noticed Comcast does sue when they don't get their way. And just a side note when you type a number of 10 you don't have to type it out in words you can use the actual numbers such as 12. Except if its the first word in a sentence
And my state doesnt have any pending law suits from the Bells.
I was wrong your state had a good PUC who enforced that law. But many other states are still battling for twelve years the RBOC and their promise. Notice I only spelled twelve. I will quote one and they are quite a few it is the NST compliant rtate law. Read on what the RBOC coalition asked and agreed to. Then look and see how they have battled to fight this law and waiver they asked for.Two Appellate courts have ruled against them and yet they refuse to pay!
