My guess, off the top of my head, would be in General Questions. A lot more exposure there than here. I have not heard, on any of the PSA spots on TV, that any kind of new antenna is req'd to use the digital converter boxes. An upgrade might enhance reception, though. -- Old enough to know better. Too old to care!

Common misconception.
with digital its either "ALL or NOTHING" meaning if she has a channel that is "snowy but watchable" she most likely just won't get that channel(blank screen)
the upside is channels that do come in "fairly good" will look gorgeous.
