Pressure your city council

Get your city council to let other companies move into your area under the condition they allow unlimited data. Since these companies have to use public right-of-way (e.g., electric poles), you do have some say in the activities allowed in your area. Find out when their contract is up with the city, or threaten them with difficulty implementing new technology using city right-of-ways unless they reverse their way. Depending on the size of the city, and demographics there (amount of profit that a company can expect), they will be more likely to reverse their action.
