| Not the Best, But the Least Worst
Verizon Wireless is not the best but the least worst of the cell phone providers in the US. I know people who have corporate at&t cell phones that have bought Verizon cell phones so that they can communicate when they are out in the real world, in this case northern Kentucky.
I have lent my Verizon cell phones over the years to various people whose phones did not work in some specific area of the country. I will say the next "least worst" is T-Mobile based on my observations.

Also, there is typically very little difference (from what I've seen in the past) in overall ratings between the best and worst... meaning Verizon Wireless _really_ isn't that much better than Sprint. Similarly, Sprint isn't that much worse than Verizon Wireless  |
