Re: Corporate Reports?

Really? Is that why they don't accept advertising in their print magazine? Furthermore, this was a survey of their members. They are just reporting what their readers said.

Listen, you really should acquaint yourself with Google and read up on things before you post. Then you would have found this about CU:

"Like the rest of Consumers Union, the Research Center is free of corporate influence and advertising. Its surveys are not commissioned or funded by industry, government, academia or big media. Rather, these surveys are designed to gather unbiased, objective information from consumers for the sole purpose of informing and protecting them.

Who needs advertising? Cash under the table is far more effective. If anyone believes Consumer Reports is truly OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED I have some terrific land deals for you...

How many people were part of the survey?

Oh, and did you forget about the screw up Consumer Reports did with the child safety seat report that even the NTSB said was wrong.

Consumer Reports is willing, and has gone to court to support its negative reviews. It usually wins. Thats says something. No settling off the record for its negative reviews. So if a product is truly crap, CR will call it out without fear, not so with other media.
