Re: ISP's that don't throttle and have their own equipment. LIST Hello;
Wightman in Stratford is Throttling.
I'm not sure how long it's been going on, but it's being done.
During Throttle time its approx 35kB/s. Full speed begins about 1 or 1:30 am, until ?? morning ??.
Line Info: Business line with static IPs.
(Yes, i have Rogers at home) |

 | That is something i was wondering too... although they have their own equipment, I didn't think that their connection was provided by Bell, but from Ontario Hydro Telecom. (i wonder this because i've had DHCP Address leased from them from time to time on Wightman DSL)
But I suppose if Bell is in the link anywhere, they have the potential to throttle it. |

 | ok let me get this straight...
wightman is putting in FTHH and its throttled? Is this correct?
If a company is putting FTTH in, they for sure would have their own Dslams.
Doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe in some area's where they don't have FTTH they are riding on Bell equipement.
So is their FTHH throttled? Is this for sure? |
