 howdy all have a business account from my home from wave had 8m x 1.5 and never had a problem till i switch to 18m x2m and man does the speeds suck ass. i run a small business from my home and my upload is well used! i pay a lot for this business speed but my upload has not changed since i upgraded to 18m x2m. the rep for port orchard business really sucks too and does nothing to help.i am stuck with wave because were i live. the fastest speed i can get from qwest is 1.5 x879? would like to get a T1 but can't. i am ass out. wood like to expanded but can't get the speeds i need too. i'm thinking satellite? any thoughts?  |

ya he just blows me off . y i don't know why.say's business and non business all the same speeds and when i have a problem with there box out side it took 1 1/2 weeks to get out to my home!i should have just stayed with my other package i had.mmmm hope things change soon. |

|  well going to close my account with wave and had moved my online business to online company and using there servers and bandwidth for a lot less then paying for internet from wave. i think the change i made and the problems wave has with there speed problems thay can just keep them. i gone from wave.good luck all happy surfing? |

WOnderful news, time to jump ship from wave soon. Went outside last week as there was a lot of noise, and found out they were putting in fiber. Should be available in the next few weeks. For around the same price as wave I can get 20/20 speeds with no limit, can't wait. |

| hi all me again just update about wave. now wave call me every 2 days and are saying thay there is a problem on a larger scale and that thay are looking into it. "BUT" everything here in port orchard is fine? you know what i say about that shit? and that thay will adjust my billing till this problem is resolved? thay are just like "AOL"? dont want to lose good customers.i have a friend that works there and he said that there equipment can't handle the newer speeds! i told them that thay can close my account and take the adjustment and us it to get the shit fixed for everyone else and hangup. just my 2 cents.  |

come to find out that wave can't keep up with the 'NEW" 18m x 2m! so i quest that everyone is right!if thay can't fix the problem- which is new upgrade equipment then thay will have to remove 18m x 2m till thay can. didn't surprise me at all! can't push anuff bandwidth to costumers that have the "NEW" 18m x 2m.so better off to stay at 8m x1.5 at leased i be getting what i pay for? no i'm good the hell with wave. just my 2 cents |

I'm still waiting for a letter describing the 'benefits' of a crippling 100GB cap on the 10/1 service and which date it begins. Already contacted Qwest and inquired about DSL. It's going to suck, but I need a predictable monthly bill and have zero interest in having to worry about overages and constantly checking their silly meter. The Wave Broadband internet experience is going backwards with these caps and I will be voting with my wallet. |

| right now i have qwest 1.5 x 769 and it works ok for surfing the internet. my friend just got com cast new fiber line in his are and now gets 20 x 20 wow! for the same price of waves 18m x 2m ! crap and he runs a lot of stuff with it to.still have wave 18m x 2m business account thay pro rate it till thay get the new speeds fix or thay are just going to take it off till thay can afford it. that's from in side of wave. it's going to cost them to much money to upgrade that thay don't have. and the way everyone is dropping there service with wave good luck on getting the money to upgrade. just my 2 cents |

I got the 18/2 service as soon as it was offered, but switched to 10/1 since would never get more than 1 up and rarely got more than 12-15 down. I think for 18/2 you are really paying for the higher bandwidth cap more than the speed, so not worth the extra $$ for me.

My speeds have dropped to a crawl, paying for the 10/1.5 pkg for over a year now..current speeds ar at 15-1800kb down/ and usual 1200 up..pathetic..sending serviceman out next week.Im sure I'll get the same song n dance as the rest of you gents...
Personally I think "wave" would prefer heavy users like me to go over to ATT's fiber,, but I guess thats just business, they probably would prefer customers that are buying the whole TV,internet,phone package deal versus someone who is only buying highspeed from em.
I would think in this very shakey economy,
Wave might want to think carefully about the chances of alienating loyal long time customers, nowadays people might move on to a competitor just to save a buck or 2 a month.... |

| howdy! right now wave is trying to upgrade there equipment to handle there upgrade to 18m x2m ! which means that everyone isn't getting enuff down or upload because of the upgrade to 18m x2m. i feel you because i have a friend that works there in the office for business accounts and that he say that thay are working on it to resolve the issue. it sucks because i have 18m x 2m and it sucks! i pay up the ass for this connection and it sucks! i get a load on it from people that buy from me and it crash i have my server cut down to 25 connections to my server. lots of people saying connection slowwwww.had to change how much bandwidth is to be used on my server for each connection. till this is resolved. love to have comcast. wow have you seen how much bandwidth shay offer for half of what i pay. 20mx20m dam.wow. were i live wave is all i can get or q west 1.5m x 768. run a small online business from home for extra money. so far its been not bad. use to host online websites no money in thay any more lol. shit its all "FREE" now! well hope this works if you can get a better service do later |

| hi all i feel you if i had a quarter for all the times i had to call wave i could retire hehehe . i have nothing but speed problems with my clients and ever since i made my speed change to the new speed. this is going to be my "LAST" month with wave i have an online company that gives me the power i need and a monthly charge of the same as wave if i go over my data transfer of 300 a month.well looks like one more person that wouldn't be on there pay roll. what i dont get is how can thay not have anuff power for each node? unless you equipment is not set right or can't handle the strain it gets when everyone is connected? i can see 10/20/30/% loss for some just depends on how far you are from the office but for me i live 1 1/2 blocks from main office for goodness sakes! still no answer from wave. i would stay if thay would tell the truth about what is going on but for other with 18m x 2m good luck save your money and get less speed. or get comcast. or what ever just my 2 cents!!!! |

I have been told no caps/throttling is in place in WA. Yet, here in Port Angeles (10/1.5 plan) I noticed my torrent speeds maxing at approx. 60/K down and 20/K up starting mid-March until I set my client to only accept encrypted transfers then it jumped right up to max upstream. Just sayn'. |

Their CS and Tech Support people have no clue what's going on. At least they didn't when they rolled out the caps (aka "New Plans") in Sacramento area. Took them about 2-3 weeks to figure what was going on. So sounds like you're next. Although, sounds like they may only be going after Torrent users in your area. They went after everyone down here.
However, as far as I can tell, the caps only apply to the 18/2 300 Gigabyte plan in Sacramento area. I'm not on that plan and there is still no way for me to check my transfer quotas. Going to be pissed if they try to bill be for going over quota if there is no way for me to check my quota.

I have the same problem. It happens very often during the day and I have to unplug my modem and plug it back in. I have had someone come out to the house to check on this and they gave me a newer modem and told me that the problem will be fixed now. It still happens =/ |
