There's been a few times I was at Starbucks and automatically "connected" to the AT&T network only to find that I had to go through all those extra steps. Not really worth it if I'm only waiting in line for a coffee. Even if I'm staying there for a relaxing chat with friends by the fire place, its just a pain in the ass!
