| [speed/latency] Upload Question
Hello, I was just wondering how can i improve my upload speed/latency. I currently play a lot of video games(mostly online games) and just want to know if there is any way to tweak or improve the upload latency/speed.
Here's my trans stats: Using the latest firmware of for the modem.
Transceiver Revision: 7.2.3.0 Vendor ID Code: 4 Line Mode: G.DMT Mode Data Path: Fast
Transceiver Information Downstream Path Upstream Path DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 3360 864 Margin (dB) 11.5 10.0 Line Attenuation (dB) 37.5 25.0 Transmit Power (dBm) 10.2 11.9
Thank You in Advance. |

| Not going to get much better than that connection-wise. In the tools section of the site, run a Tweak Test (if you have Vista, don't even bother, just let us know) and the NY test from here »www.speakeasy.net/speedtest. |

1 edit | I ran the tweak test just like you said and im curious what connection option should i choose? I selected normal, and everything is fine expect to raise the MTU from 1492 to 1500.
Edit: I'm guessing 1492 is my computers MTU. I checked my modems MTU and for ATM it says 1540 and for Ethernet 1500. |
