You'll probably be waiting for some time. I've had FIOS for three years without a single outage.

White Plains, NY		 Yep. So far so good it seems, no significant outage in couple months.
If you have to deal with verizon CS though, forget about it... similarly their online billing system is screwy and works intermittently. Other than that I am happy .
