Ok downloaded form TuneUP site installed on XP SP3 pro (after creating a fresh TI image) and entered reg key successfully.
Tried out 1 click maintenance let it correct problems (holds breath) and tuneup styler to change boot (from my own picture) and log on screens with no problems (so far).
This is really kind of neat.

The Software version is always available under the Menu path of Help | About or Help | About "program name" and is rarely seen by right clicking the Installer then selecting Properties of the Installer File.

Most likely they right clicked the download and went to properties but even that say TuneUp Utilities 2007.

Thanks for the info. TU for free is a good deal.
I uninstalled TU6 and installed TU7. No problems. TU7 found a few reg entries from removed apps that TU6 had not. |
