A little background on this photo:
This is actually a mural painted on a wall in Winslow, Az.
It's based on the lyrics of the Eagles song "Take It Easy"....
"Well, I’m a standing on a corner
In Winslow, Arizona
And such a fine sight to see
It’s a girl, my lord, in a flatbed
Ford slowin’ down to take a look at me."
The statue is "rumored" to be of Jackson Browne who wrote the song with Glen Frey.

Thanks for the background on it - that makes it even more interesting. Of course, I'm smacking my forehand and saying "Doh!" that I didn't recognize it for an incarnation of the song to begin with.
It was late when I looked at it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it....

No rain came and our skies are blue again. But, our temps dipped. Drat! Had to put on a sweatshirt today to keep warm. This is such a great place to live!
The sands of time took over this image though. Blew in and covered just about everything. |
