A little background on this photo:
This is actually a mural painted on a wall in Winslow, Az.

It's based on the lyrics of the Eagles song "Take It Easy"....
"Well, I’m a standing on a corner
In Winslow, Arizona
And such a fine sight to see
It’s a girl, my lord, in a flatbed
Ford slowin’ down to take a look at me."

The statue is "rumored" to be of Jackson Browne who wrote the song with Glen Frey.

 Thanks for the background on it - that makes it even more interesting. Of course, I'm smacking my forehand and saying "Doh!" that I didn't recognize it for an incarnation of the song to begin with.

It was late when I looked at it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it....

God bless any roaster they use! Love them peanuts. Thanks for the background on the Winslow image. I was really wondering what I was looking at and the info is even more interesting than the image alone.

No rain came and our skies are blue again. But, our temps dipped. Drat! Had to put on a sweatshirt today to keep warm. This is such a great place to live!

The sands of time took over this image though. Blew in and covered just about everything.
