And that's in the 2.4GHz band. I know it would be much higher if my gear were 5GHz capable. | |

I know the Airport Extreme can do 802.11n on the 5GHz band so I would imagine your Air can do that too. You may want to look into it because the Airport Extreme was one of the 802.11n routers that had the HIGHEST throughput once free of all the 2.4GHz chatter. | |

I have a $99 Trendnet TEW-633GR and I can get 300Mbps out of it, so I'm sure your Linksys can achieve something close to that. If not, you may have a bad unit? | |
