Well i seen in the paper some new information about hd channels that will be added after feb 25th in albany but i am guessing it will be in each comcast area after the date for the dta transition in each area
attached is the public notice in the paper that i could not get it all in one shot
I dont know where all of the hd channels are going that have a new channel assigned to there number

clubs: | Wow 69 HD channels. I feel like I'm living the mid 90's all over again. Like when we went from 62 analog channels to 80 analog channels.
69 HD's that's like as many SD analogs there are in a traditional cable system, wow. |

Notice they also have the GAME HD channels for the PPV Sports Packages...As well as the IND PPV Events Channel...
Does Boston or Chicago even have these? |

| My post wasn't really clear. I currently have only basic cable (simple coaxial cable to my plasma). Not digital or expanded. So I have HD channels such as 9.1 for ABC, 16.1 for NBC and so on. I don't have channels in the 700 range. So any additions there? |

Albany, OR | you might find 716 via qam when it becomes available also you might want to do a channel scan and see if there has been any new channels that you can see because comcast has been doing some switching of Carrier channels |

Re run your autotune function. Basically though you only will get the ota. Abc, Cbs, Nbc, Opb, Opb create, Nbc weather plus, CW(used to be wb),fox (kptv), kpdx, and the oregon channel. Also there is even espn radio which is coming through. Oh yeah all of these arent necesarily in hd but are the digital ota channels already broadcasting in the west portland beaverton area. I have also even seen tvs pick up other customers on demand choices. Becareful though aome of the channels your tv will pick up will be double broadcasts. |

just to clarify the only areas that will see all these new hd channel by THE END OF FEB. will be SALEM,ALBANY,LEBANON,CORVALLIS AND EUGENE
The reason i did not put a date on salem hd additions is because i don't have a date yet for them yet,
but i will tell you salem and the Corvallis/Albany head end are more connected than most people think mainly because of on demand
i cannot edit my first post i have recently come accross some info that some of the transition dates for some areas may have swapped in the portland area |
