jandz posted : The problem was much worse for me when Leo first came out. Since the last update (10.5.5) it's been a lot better. I think I've only had one crash and I close the lid literally 5-6 times a day. As someone else suggested, it might just be something specific to your setup.
--
It's only a model...

wxboss posted : I've encountered this several times in Leopard. The fix for me was (on my MB) to close the lid and reopen, and I would then be presented with the log in screen and could log back in.

To be honest, I'm always leery of sleeping my MB since I started using Leopard - I didn't have this problem with Tiger.

Maybe others here will have a better solution.
--
"Bigamy is having one wife too many.
Nemokrad posted : I really love Apple, but holy crap am I pissed off. I manage an office network with about 40 Macs, and a decent number of our laptops exhibit the failing to wake from sleep issue. I am so sick and tired of this problem and the fact that it's been going on for such a long time without resolution. And to top it all off, I bought the president of our company the new MBP model and guess what, it has the same problem. He doesn't even use an external display or bluetooth or anything.
