I used to correct people with that too, but at this point I think it's accepted that PCs refer to Windows based boxes. At this point I just refer to a personal computer as a computer or box.

I remember a time when a person that owned a "personal" computer was either a home brew nerd or very rich. I had to wait until I got a job selling them before I could afford one.
