Re: [DVR] Multiple MDVR

Not at this time. There can only be one HM-DVR in the network. The box in the bedroom will be just a dvr - will have it's own recordings to playback, but won't be able to read the other (anointed) dvr's programs or interact with any of the mr-dvr features.

Couple of alternatives could be:
-using a TiVo recorder in the bedroom - they have that music/picture playback capability also
-iPod with speakers

Will the system allow the bedroom MDVR to play music from the media player PC?

The system will only allow one HM-DVR at a time. The DVR in the bedroom won't be allowed to be a "terminal" in the setup.

Has anyone tried the more than one Home Media DVR? I like the feature of playing music and would like to share the Christmas music collection with the DVR in the bedroom. I have the MDVR in the media room already. So the question is can you set up the second DVR with Home Media? Second question is will V* charge for the second MDVR?
