Please help me

I am looking for a wireless client that will allow me to connect a win2k machine to a wireless machine. I have tried to use LucidLink, but the installer will not work properly. I tried the McAfee wireless security client I use on my other machines and it is flaky as well. Please help so I can get this computer back to its owner.

It has been my experience that all wireless cards come with clients to install. What wireless card are you using??

Linksys WRT54G with Range Booster. The router I am connecting to is a WRT54G with Tomato firmware. The problem is that it came with an Odyssey client that when installed cause the laptop to start actng erratic.

Ok, so you apparently overlooked the fact that I tried to load LucidLink and it didn't work. Says I need to locate another place fo the installer, tried that but it keeps asking me to do the same thing.

super easy: get a WiFi client bridge like the Airlink101 431W ($20 at Fry's). Configure it for your WiFi. Connect ethernet port to Win2K PC's ethernet port. Done.

It's transparent to Win2K.

I will have to talk to my client, but that may be an option.
