PS3 and Wii?

Wasn't there talk of also making software available for both the PS3 and Wii?

PS3 might make sense. But the Wii doesn't have a high def connection to a TV - it uses composite connections only. So, unless the Wii upgrades the hardware, I don't see that happening real soon.

I doubt Wii not having HD is a reason why it wouldn't have it.

These guys have NetFlix streaming working to the PS3 today, and claim that they'll have Wii support in 2009.

Wii can do component at 480p. But that's it as far as I'm aware.

Unless it just came out, the Wii has no COMPONENT connectors. It only has composite.

Wii has had component since it first came out. Mine has been hooked to the TV like that for almost a couple years now.

Well, they sure did a good job hiding it on their web site. I'll have to check and see if my niece & nephew have component inputs on the TV they will use this for. I ordered it std from Walmart and it will only come with the composite cables. After I find out what they have, I can order the component cable somewhere.
