| [Connectivity] Netgear CG814WG repeatedly drops connection
Hi everyone, I'm a relative newbie when it comes to Comcast and diagnostics and all that so please bear with me. My Netgear CG814WG v.2 repeatedly drops connection. In Vista, it will be connected but say "Local Only". At that point, all I can do is log into the modem and that's it. There are at most 4-5 computers connected at once. I'm far away from the modem but even for my roommates who are in the same room, the connection drops also. Any tips are much appreciated. Thanks. |

join:2008-12-08 united state | reply to theonlymembe Sorry about the not posting all my stats. Anyway, I reset the thing in the back by pressing the reset button with a pencil. It seems to be working okay now. |
