I know some countries and states have laws like that, and frankly it's sad that it's gotten to the point where they had to make those laws, both for the people who had to be forced to help and those who would sue people for saving their life.
Good Samaritan laws in the US vary by state, and even where they exist, they provide little cover to good Samaritans from lawsuits because it is up to a court to decide whether the helper has exhibited regular negligence(which may be covered) and gross negligence which isn't. »
