Re: Cellular Booster Anyone here personally use something like this? Does it REALLY work? What is a less expensive comparable device for the residential/home market? |

RockyBBPremium join:2005-01-31 Steamboat Springs, CO 1 edit | you would not deploy this in a home as it is a multi-carrier solution. if you have Sprint cell phones, you can get their Airave device (a femtocell) which would act as a cellular repeater for their network.
the manufacturer of the Zboost has a retail website with a product line, with less robust models. at the bottom left is a dealer locator where you might source the product locally. see: »www.wi-exstore.com/MyCart/FeaturedItems.aspx |

I don't see why that would make someone not want to install it in a residential environment especially if they needed to be able to switch carriers without depending on a proprietary femtocell. Many houses are home to people on different carriers, such as in a setting where those people are roommates; it's not always a pure family setting where everyone is using one carrier. -- TRU - The Root Underground | Houston, Texas, U.S.A.
