you would not deploy this in a home as it is a multi-carrier solution. if you have Sprint cell phones, you can get their Airave device (a femtocell) which would act as a cellular repeater for their network.

the manufacturer of the Zboost has a retail website with a product line, with less robust models. at the bottom left is a dealer locator where you might source the product locally. see: »www.wi-exstore.com/MyCart/FeaturedItems.aspx

I don't see why that would make someone not want to install it in a residential environment especially if they needed to be able to switch carriers without depending on a proprietary femtocell. Many houses are home to people on different carriers, such as in a setting where those people are roommates; it's not always a pure family setting where everyone is using one carrier.
