Where is it $500? I just bout the Aspire One with win xp and 120gb hd for only $350 and thats what everyone I saw it selling sold it at

My thoughts exactly. You can get the AA1 with Linux on it for $299 at newegg. Where did the other $200 come from? The only place that this is $500 is on HSN, and I wouldn't buy a computer from them. They have high overhead, with production costs, and paying their hucksters, unlike a place like Newegg, or Tiger.

I got my AA1 about a month ago, and it suits its purpose just fine. I wouldn't sign up for a data plan for this thing, because I already have one for my cell phone. I can attach the cell to it, and get on the 'net that way.

The advertised one has a 160 GB hard drive and a larger battery pack(6 cell & not 3 cell) for longer use and the 3G card. »www.pcworld.com/article/155192/a···ook.html

$399 with a 160GB drive and 6 cell battery. The $500 model they are mentioning is for the model with the integrated 3G modem. MAkes sense.
