Re: $60/mo 2 yr contract for all AT&T laptop data plans Its my choice if I want to shell out $1500 or so a year. I have been doing this for the past 2 years at Sprint.
Sure I could tether and hope they don't find out  I could also dump my auto insurance premium while I am at it. Just hope I don't get into any accident. |

For some... a $99 laptop + $60/month for Internet isn't a bad deal.
How much do you pay for Internet over DSL or Cable ?
Since this is mobile, you pay a little more, but to be given a laptop (sure ... its no Toshiba) for $99, its not a horrible deal.
I'd just have to ensure that I 'could' take that SIM out and into another device (say my phone) and connect it to a 'real' laptop or PC if needed. |
