I think I still will, but I'll be damned if AT&T is getting another $60 (Well, $54 - I get 10% off) out of my $120/mo bill already.
That $120 covers two lines, 1400 minutes, unlimited txt and internet. A bluetooth adapter is what, $5 now?
No thanks...i'll just buy one and tether it to my phone when I need to. |

Riverhead, NY | I pay $30 for a data plan already. Is that cheap? Should AT&T not be ridiculous, I may very well pay them another $30/mo for something like an unlimited plan on a EEE or Acer Aspire....$60 is just too much. |

im not calling you cheep its just that the policy is what it is. if you don't like it you have every right not to purchase the service.
but...
don't complain when/if AT&T cuts off your service or charges you more for violation of the tos.
go look at all the other providers data card plans you will see they fall right in line with AT&T. i cant blame them for charging what the market will handle. |

while you're at it, why don't you leech of your neighbors' wifi too. the point is, if you are FOLLOWING THE RULES, the $60 is on the mark for 3G laptop service. So, if you are going to sign up anyhow, why not get a subsidized netbook out of it?? makes sense to me. |
