Re: Comcast Rick = Tokyo Rose? said by Bell System:Why do I hear the voice of "Tokyo Rose" or the one from the european front when reading one of Rick's rants? That's not a crackling coming from me. It's coming off your own bell system and returning the static to your ears.
I'm on a cable co's digital fiber/coax soon to be docsis 3.0 connection which is crystal clear.
Maybe that's the problem with AT&T? -- The Coyote captured the RR! Roadrunner Rick is now Comcastic! |

 | reply to Rick your right Rick I work for att now as a installer, for two years now, the technology they are using is outdated and very unreliable. I am sad that I might loose my job next year here in dallas. Due to mostly people not getting this service unless it's some kind of freebie deals going on, we do a lot of apartment installs on people who are only trying out and or moving out soon and are not planning on keeping this service. Most people dont even have landline phone service, we are just using the old copper wire to send a slow signal in to the router. I wouldn't rely on it if I had a home business. Actually if it was just dsl then I actually would say it's okay. But if you connect everything to the same provider, you might not have anything at all on a bad day when some screwball in the CO pushes the wrong button and you have an entire state out of service, something that happens often. |

Almost anyone who is on DSL is on a "fiber" link at some point too. |

 | reply to lucille Well, well, all the poo-pooing of Rick gets vindicated by this one post. I might have considered U-Verse before...but with TWO markets seeing cap trials, it's the last place my business is going. |
