 You're guaging the general public based on 5 dudes on an cheap deals forum? seriously?

People who want to play PS3 games are hardly burdoned. Those who are obsessed with bang-for-buck (and probably reselling) I'm sure get confused easily.

  These are avid shoppers, who regularly look for deals. I was surprised that so many didn't seem to understand the PS3, then thought about it, and the PS3 evolution is a bit confusing.

IMO Sony marketing could have managed things better to both avoid confusion and preserve the value of the brand.

I do not in any way blame the designers of the PS3, obviously their product is a masterpiece. Sony marketing gutting of it over time hasn't helped the brand IMO.

I'm not sure, but it's possible discussion of "porn" consoles may belong in another forum

In reading this forum, it appears the Xbox 360 tends to cause more cursing.
