| External refrigurator water filter recomendations
I have replaced my internal refrigerator water filter for the ice maker / water dispenser with a bypass device with hopes of finding a better / cheaper generic filter that goes outside of the refrigerator. Any recommendations on brand and place to purchase with good prices?

| I bought a two stage whirlpool WHED20 setup from Lowes on sale a couple of years ago, and when I installed it I set it up to feed the icemaker in my fridge. filters are about $50 and I replace them about every 4 months (I think normally they would last 6 months, but my area has older piping with a fair amount of rust scale, so it tends to start clogging up after 4 months). |
