Both of your links take me 30 - 40 seconds to load completely with 15 Mb DL speed. Most other websites load in a fraction of that time. That's a lot of big images. I think your setup is fine and it's the website configuration.

Perhaps you are right. I'm just going to alternate browsers depending on what I'm doing.
