|  Magic Jack Lost File
I installed Magic Jack and made 2 phone calls. I tried to make another phone call and the computer went dead. I tried to reboot and all I received is a black screen with the message "file missing or corrupt windows\system32\config\system.ini". I put the hard drive into an enclosure. Installed a new hard drive and tried to read the old hard drive. The files are there but I cant read them. Then the new hard drive crashes. Goes to the safe mode boot screen but will not boot up. |

I believe this is the first time I have heard innuendo that MagicJack may have corrupted a system.
In any case have you tried the F8 key at boot up which gives you teh opportunity to "Boot to the last known working configuration" or "God forbid" a restore to a date prior to installing MagicJack.
